We Are Surrounded with Al We Need

As of late my words have been jumbled in my brain and lacking luster. I was feeling defeated and not able to do what I really enjoy -- write! I began journaling and using a  daily devotional in hopes of organizing my thoughts and shining them up a bit. The title of one of the devotionals is "Fight for Your Dreams" and it used YASHAYAHU 52:12 for its inspiration. This blog is sharing how I was inspired by the verse and hopefully it will inspire you! I will keep it to a reasonable length!

We read in Yashayahu 52:12 that Yahuah goes before us and is our rear guard. He surrounds us in His protection. "My kindness and my stronghold, My tower and my deliverer, My shield, and in whom I take refuge, Who is subduing peoples under me." TEHILLIM - PSALMS 144:2

Each day we are given the opportunity to refine our walk with Yahusha. For me, refining is praying for and putting into practice having YAHUAH front and center of my mind so all is filtered through Him and His commandments. He will guide us if we seek Him and put Him first. Thing is, the adversary is very near us as well. Taunting. Placing obstacles in our paths. Attacking with negativity and doubt. We must ask the Father to rebuke these attacks and maintain our focus on YAHUAH and putting into practice His Set-Apart Ways.

For the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart -- to do it. See, I have set before you today life and good, and death and evil, in that I am commanding you today to love YAHUAH, your Alahim, to walk in His ways, and His right-rulings. And you shall live and increase, and YAHUAH your Alahim shall bless you in the land which you go to possess. But if your heart turns away, and you do not obey, and shall be drawn away, and shall bow down to other mighty ones and serve them, "I have declared to you today that you shall certainly perish, you shall not prolong your Yomim in the land which you are passing over the Yarden to enter and possess..."DABARIM - DEUTERONOMY  30:14-18

Whatever "land" we are trying to possess (goals, characters, jobs, relationships etc.) that are of YAHUAH or for YAHUAH we better be sure that the adversary will be trying to "draw" us away and have us serve his ways instead through focusing on ourselves. Our flesh is our enemy as the adversary is our enemy. Our enemy wants us to fail in our walk with Yahusha and will cause our flesh to focus on "obstacles" such as our fatigue, our feebleness, and in some cases a lack of funds and will use these to convince us that we are not able to achieve what YAHUAH has called us to possess. This will bring on a lack of desire or passion. Our light will dim.

These "obstacles" are really just distractions and when we focus on them (ourselves) instead of YAHUAH we are not allowing YAHUAH to work through us. We are not believing that He can help us overcome the fatigue, overcome our feebleness, and provide a way financially. He's there. In front of us and behind us. He's leading the way to our achievement and has our back when we forget and make a mistake by trying to do it ourselves.

"And it is YAHUAH who is going before you, He Himself is with you. He does not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be discouraged." DABARIM - DEUTERONOMY 31:8  

Relying on ourselves and not "having taken up the shield of belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one"* will lead us to failure. If we turn our eyes to YAHUAH, believe in Him completely and lean into Him with all we are then we will experience victory!
